Costs (parking tickets, towing fees, etc.) associated with the location of choice of a client will be the responsibility of the client.
DC sessions are automatically subject to $50 travel fee.
Additional fees may apply for In-home photography sessions.

The retouching process begins once proofs are selected. The time taken to choose proofs will serve as a factor in the retouching process. Clients who choose their proofs first will get their photos retouched first, regardless of when their photos were taken and which package they have. Any approved retouched photos may not be considered for re-editing. All changes are final once approved and any extra retouching desired by the client is subject to separate charges per revision.
As the client, you are allowed to decide which images you want edited. If you are unhappy in any way with the images, you may request a re-edit at a cost. The photographer may choose to perform the edit or not.
Major modifications to an image requested by a client will be subject to a cost.

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure a booking. The remainder is due at week before the session.
You may not downsize to a smaller package after you have paid the deposit for that package. However, you may upgrade to a larger package at any time. Separate charges will apply for the specified package.

Policies

Dr. Leks Photography retains rights to use all images for portfolio, samples, self-promotions online (social media) and publication. Raw files remain the exclusive property of Dr. Leks Photography.
It is illegal and prohibited to copy, scan, download, print, share, alter, or otherwise steal any image created by Dr. Leks Photography during a photo session. This includes images sent to the client for proofing/selection. Clients will be sent an invoice for every image stolen.
Dr. Leks Photography retains the Copyright and ownership of its images unless a written authorization is given by Dr. Leks Photography. Images may not be reproduced, printed, copied, transmitted or manipulated without the written permission from Dr. Leks Photography. The use of any image as the basis for another photographic concept, illustration or reproduction (digital, artist rendered or alike) is a violation of the law and is strictly prohibited. Dr. Leks Photography will grant the license to reproduce such images on the understanding that all invoices are paid within the Dr. Leks Photography stated payment terms. Dr. Leks Photography reserves the right to charge an additional fee if the photographs are used for purposes other than what is shown on the invoice.

We allow one complementary reschedule (to be completed within 7 days of your original session date) no less than 72 hours (3 days) notice before your session. If you give us less than 72 hours (3 days) notice, we’ll consider it a cancellation and your deposit will be forfeited. If you want to reschedule more than once, a $100 rescheduling fee is required per reschedule.
Rescheduling is subject to the photographer’s availability/schedule.

If you arrive late, your session time will be reduced. If you are more than 30 minutes late, this will be considered a cancellation and your deposit will be forfeited.
We allow up to a 15 minute grace period after which your session is subject to cancellation.
Liability - Dr. Leks Photography is not responsible for any injuries inflicted on any participating parties. Client(s) will be responsible for themselves and release photographers from any claims against their person or their business.

Proofs are available for 6 months from the date we send your link. After 6 months your proofs will be archived. There’s a $25 fee to reopen archived galleries.
